Stat. § 773.01-773.06) protects equine professionals, sponsors, and owners from liability for injuries resulting from the "inherent risks" of horse activities, such as spooking or falling. Protection is not absolute, as it does not cover gross negligence, faulty equipment, or failure to warn of dangerous conditions.
